Even though salvation is not obtained by keeping the Law, Scripture declares the Law “holy, just, and good.” The Law contains God's wisdom and heart for mankind, and many of the Old Testament commandments are reflected in the New Testament imperatives, helping us to live lives that are pleasing to God and free from the bondage of sin.
