Understanding the Book of Romans: Righteousness by Faith in Christ

The book of Romans is the great doctrinal treatise that forms the foundation of the Christian faith. It clearly sets forth that salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ, and that the saved are righteous in the eyes of God. This teaching answers often-asked questions such as, What exactly does “righteous” mean? Was it different in Old Testament times? Why do so many Christians seek salvation through good works?
